My girlfriend: An amazing contemporary/lyrical/ballet dancer. Yesterday found us on Venice Beach, and after much coaxing (aka begging), I got her to do a leap for me. Beautiful day, beautiful girl.  I’m lucky.

Dreaming of the moon means the true light of superconscious. It represents the feminine subconscious mind. Also is the force of love, success in love, and deep romance. Now I am happy about my moon dream last night.

Mondays mean writing days.  Yesterday I:  Wrote an 8-minute screenplay to be filmed in the summer, entered a writing contest (http://www.writermag.com/storycontest), applied to four free lance writing gigs, will send in a submission to http://showcase.slamdance.com/Writing-Competition by the end of May.
Mused over:  Film scores, a death scene, dialogue:
                             WAITER
You left your wallet here, buddy. JOHN
When did I do that? WAITER
When you was last here. JOHN

Hotel Majestic located in San Francisco, CA is a boutique hotel that was built in 1902.  While most would be looking for the finer places to stay, I adore the lesser known Victorian-era hotels.  The hotel is painstakingly detailed, and as you can see from the photos above, you almost wish this place was haunted. Next time you’re in San Francisco, give this hotel a chance. Conveniently located a few blocks away from Japan Town, we were still able to walk comfortably into Union Square.

Thanks, Instagram.

I was super reluctant to utilize the 2.0 versions of the “upgraded” filters: Brannan and Earlybird.  Sadly, the over saturation and at times colorless images I saw after using the filters made my heart sad.  But Instagram heard our pleas to change it back!  Compare versions 2.0 [left] and 2.1 [right] of both Brannan and Earlybird. Business as usual…Thank you!

I took this picture with Instagram:  Super fog in Downtown Los Angeles [Taken on 7th & Grand]
I’ve been walking three blocks to work every day for the past two years, and always pass under these double bracketed lamps.  Blazing against a 6am sky, I had to stop and snap this.

Lately on Instagram via the “Popular” feed, I noticed how stunning the Early Bird filter can be.  It wasn’t exactly a favorite of mine, but now that I used it to create illuminating colors (like this one I took of a flower I held up to the sky), I want to explore this setting. I think I’m going to try to create a set with the clear blue sky as the background using only the Early Bird filter.

Lately I’ve been scrolling through my Instagram photos, and in my mind simultaneously dreaming of flipping through these images like a book.  I am so happy to find this website that makes my Instagram Coffee Table Book dream come true.

Blurb.com has made it possible, and fairly inexpensively.  Do you have ten bucks? Cool! Click on the website and get your 20 page 7x7 custom made book started. They’re sturdy, durable, and can go up to 160 pages.  You can make edits, add photos, etc with their website editing tools.  Link your Instagram account, I’d actually love to see books my friends create as well.  Neat-o!

Are Instagram photos so cute you could eat them?  Now you can.  Bakerella not only makes their graham crackers home made, but now you can check out how to make your OWN Insta-grahams!  The step by step instructions are located on the site.  Fondant covers the graham crackers to give them their cute Instagram look. Awesome, and thank you Bakerella!!
